PARK VIEW EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR EXCELLENCE IN INNOVATION & DESIGN
The Norwood Crossing Association set out to bring something special to the Norwood Park community. Intent on exceeding the standard retirement communities of the past, they incorporated input and suggestions from neighbors and others who attended local meetings. Through these conscientious efforts, Park View at Norwood Crossing has become a unique retirement project that will thoughtfully blend with the aesthetics of the surrounding community.
Reflecting the evolution taking place in the retirement housing industry today, attention has been given to creating a lifestyle at Park View that will offer tailored services, unique amenities and innovative architecture. Winning the Silver Design Award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) was truly an honor for all involved with the Park View project. Jurors, responsible for the award decision, noted that the Park View project design achieves a quaint neighborhood feeling while being bold in its creative use of unique architectural styles.
Park View will be the epitome of senior living at its finest. The campus, adjacent to a well established residential community filled with Victorian homes, will bring a resort concept in retirement living to seniors. A Town Center will be the hub for amenities such as a pool, fitness and business centers, a chapel and dining venues. Featuring 139 generously sized independent living residences, the Park View at Norwood Crossing campus will become a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a full continuum of support available in existing assisted living apartments and long-term skilled nursing.
Park View at Norwood Crossing is proud to be the recipient of the National Silver Award presented by NAHB and celebrates the outstanding design work of Harley Ellis Deveraux of Chicago. Seniors seeking remarkable retirement living with intergenerational opportunities in a neighborhood with character will find Park View at Norwood Crossing a place to call home.
